Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Season pork with basil, pepper, and salt. Wrap bacon slices around the tenderloin, overlapping ends to secure.
Heat 1 tbs olive oil in a medium cast-iron skillet. Sear pork for 2-3 minutes per side. Place skillet in oven and cook for 20 minutes, or until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees.
While pork is cooking, heat remaining olive oil in medium sauce pan over medium heat. Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Add vinegar, increase heat to medium high, and bring to a boil. Boil, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in preserves and strawberries.
When pork is done cooking, remove to plate and spoon sauce over meat.
